Basic Calling Information

Mobile phone numbers in United Arab Emirates contain nine digits and always start with "5". The first two digits indicate the cellular network to which the number belongs:
50 - ETISALAT
55 - Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company PJSC
When calling mobile phone numbers within United Arab Emirates, dial the Domestic Access Code ("0") before the area code. Do not dial this access code when calling from another country.
When making an international call to a mobile phone in United Arab Emirates, dial UAE country code [971] + nine-digit mobile phone number.
